It was my ambition to launch my podcast with interviews, but the scheduling has been a challenge. To continue to move forward, I keep recording musings to maintain momentum. "Two Trips to Thailand" was about two separate trips and mindsets leading to completely different experiences. The second trip, just like running a route for a second time, was much better. My fear of dying had subsided (slightly), and I could focus on exploring, meeting people and having fun. I also learned that keeping it simple, for me traveling alone, was better. Instead of three islands, I picked one. I could settle and get to know the place better. I created some routines, which apparantly really helps me relax. This was new info for Jen HQ.
This trip created a major shift in my own healing and energy. One podcast was particularly helpful. It is called "You are F*cking Magnetic". You can find it on Spotify. Just start from the beginning.
For this upcoming birthday, I will celebrate my 50th with friends, but the celebrations will be broken into two parts. Mostly to save money. Part 1: we will go Limeni, near Kalamata. This is to honor D's heritage. Part 2: I am trying to pull together a private sailboat through Croatia. This is celebrating my past live of being a sea captain.
I will likely spend time again in Thailand this year at some point in the spring. I continue to love Koh Chang, but I really would like to try Koh Mak this time. It is like Koh Chang, but smaller and a much chiller vibe according to friends.
