Today, I will share my top 7 songs (of today) that evoke lusty, passionate, danc-y, juicy feelings just in time for the weekend. This all started yesterday in my Holy Ride class (#saintsandstars) with Camila who played several bangers. The first song to make my special list today was actually the first song in her class. I unabashedly shouted "WHAT! EFF YEAH!" when I heard the remix, then proceeded to bust a gut as I "shout sang" the lyrics between gulps of air as I danced on my spin bicycle.
It was a song that reminded me of an era and, specifically, a trip to Istanbul. It is heaving with desire, and his voice is desparate and needy (for me, apparently). Surprisingly, when my daughter was about 5 or 6 at a day camp, THIS was the song they chose to play as the disco sing-a-long song. Best part, in the video of the party, the entire room of counselors and under 10-year-olds were shouting the chorus. It was one of many times when I thought to myself, raising a child in Europe is slightly different than the US. And...I never left!
